Tsveti's Creative Workshop

For the new beginning of the New Year, we will introduce you to Tsveti from 'Tvoritelnitsata na Tsveti' (Tsveti's Creative Workshop). We can say many things about her, but what describes her completely is: a good example! She is an example of a strong, brave, determined woman who doesn't lose her tenderness, faith, kindness, and love on the sometimes thorny path of life! For several months, she has ventured into the world of scrapbooking, and we help and inspire her as much as we can, and she learns quickly. Before this, she was involved in decoupage, so she carries that creative magic in her!

Tell us briefly about yourself:

I'm 46 years old, from Cherven Bryag, with three children. By profession, I'm a lawyer, nothing to do with scrapbooking :)

How long have you been involved in crafting?

I started doing crafts about 10 months ago.

How and why did you choose to do this?

My family and I are going through a difficult period in our lives. I need to relieve stress, as well as to contribute to the treatment of a close family member. That's how I started with decoupage, and later, I got into crafting. Crafting is like therapy for me; it calms me, helps me clear my mind, and gives me new strength to continue the battle and challenges in life.

What do you create?

I create cards for all occasions, invitations, banners, gift boxes in various shapes, paper cakes and party accessories, table cards, albums, and I sometimes try to make digital portraits from photos. But I'm ready to be challenged to create something different.

Describe in three words why you enjoy being a creator?

I create something unique for a specific person, something that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world. The greatest reward for me is seeing a smile and satisfaction on the faces of those who receive my creations.

Favorite color combination?

I love creating things with Bulgarian ethnic motifs, baby-themed items, with cartoon characters, vintage papers... As a color combination, I love beige-brown shades and red hues.

Where do you feel most inspired?

At home during the night :)

What do you like to listen to while you work?

I like to turn on the TV with a series and listen to it :)

How do you spend your time when you're not working?

It's complicated with me...

If you weren't a creator, what would you be doing?

Creativity is my additional hobby.

Do you want to add anything else?

There is still a lot for me to learn, but every new thing is a huge challenge for me. I put love, positive energy, and patience into the things I create. I try to refine every detail.
